About the School
Basma Special School was established in 2013 and licensed by the Ministry of Education with a registration No. 32341705. It is the first school in the Gaza Strip that provides inclusive education services of several primary stages for children with cochlear implants, hearing impairment, learning difficulties, Down syndrome, and autistic, by adapting the Palestinian curriculum in line with their needs and potentials to integrate them into society.
Objectives
Provide rehabilitation and treatment sessions of behavioral and psychological disorders
Implement speech disorders treatment sessions
Implement extracurricular activities that promote students’ understanding

A distinguished team of teachers and skilled specialists, supported by a qualified technical team to treat speech disorders of students through rehabilitation sessions
A Building includes classrooms equipped with the latest technologies and modern devices, most notably the smart board, laptops, and 3D screen
A smart science unit includes a science lab and a computer laboratory equipped with the latest technology
A play therapy center that promotes student achievement through entertainment; music, painting, and arts
Educational supervision and seeking to enhance community interaction through networking and cooperation with institutions and individuals
Curriculum adapted to children’s capacities and approved by the Ministry of Education
Safe and pleasant school environment with an equipped outdoor yard

How to Join Basma Special School
Students seeking to join the school in other years should in the first instance visit the school; before the beginning of the semester and during the office hours, and pay a monthly fee of 150 NIS, not including transportations
