Basma Center for Audiology and Speech Therapy opens the registration to benefit from the hearing aids installation, within the following conditions:
The child should be aged between 2 and 5 years
The level of the hearing loss is moderate or severe
The child has not benefited from a free hearing aids project in the past three years
To enroll the child in the “Hearing Rehabilitation” program at Basma Center
To follow the instructions of the specialists
Not to sell the hearing aids
Do not allow a child other than the beneficiary to use the hearing aids
Examinations and reports indicating the child’s need for the hearing aids
The economic condition of the family will be taken into consideration

Emaar announces a bid for “Construction the first floor of Basma Rehabilitation Compound for People with Disabilities (concrete frame)”. By generous funding from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development- No. (04/16NGO).
The project is the construction of the first floor (concrete frame) on an area of 1125 sqm, in accordance with the construction schemes, specifications, and standards. Anyone who wishes to apply for this tender can obtain a copy of the tender at the following address: (Khanyounis- Al Amal Neighborhood- Next to Social Affairs Directorate) for a non-refundable amount of 100 $ per copy starting from Wednesday 2 January 2019 during official working hours, and take into account the following conditions:
This tender is open to contractors and qualified companies in the Gaza Strip which are registered in the governmental agencies, have previous experience in similar work and have a licensed worker certificate (attach a copy of the license to the bid). (Companies must be registered at the Contractors Union – Buildings – at least a third degree).
Prices are not inclusive of value-added tax. Zero tax invoices must be provided on each extract.
The applicants must submit the bid entry guarantee (a bank guarantee or a bank check) submitted by an approved bank at a value of 5% of the total value of the bid, not less than 90 days from the deadline of tender delivery. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.
A preliminary meeting will be held to answer the participants’ questions and to visit the site on Monday, 7 January 2019 at 10:00 a.m. The terms and conditions of the bid will be explained in detail and the required work will be clarified.
Deadline for submission of tenders is on Saturday, 12 January 2019, at 1:00 p.m. After this date, none of the submitted tenders are accepted.
